This really is an excellent book. It’s stunning, well written, and the recipes are fantastic. It makes an awesome addition to most kitchens. The large downside? There’s not much in this book that you isn’t already on her website. There are some additions, but the bulk of the book is a compilation of things discovered on her blog. I was hoping for a lot more new stuff. It makes an excellent gift to get a huge PW fan or for somebody who isn’t web savvy. I am glad I bought the book, I’d rather have this stunning difficult cover piece of kitchen art than a bunch of printed-from-the-internet recipes.

Beyond the fact that this book has great recipes with step by step photos and personality in the instruction, it also has a ton of gorgeous photographs and anecdotes from the ranch. This is an instant favorite for me. Get a copy for yourself and one to get a friend.

I only recently discovered Ree’s charming blog and spent a number of hours immersed reading about her romance with M. Man. These days her cookbook came and as I study it, I found it a nice balance of charm, friendliness and sharing of her preferred recipes. Whilst I wouldn’t make most of her choices because they’re heavy and use lots of butter, I still enjoyed the uniqueness of her cookbook. The photographs are gorgeous and her stories are fun to study. The cookbook easily describes recipes and processes with humor, and I think it would be a fine gift for a young, inexperienced cook. I’m sure they’re all tasty favorites and I will try some. Ree is certainly a Renaissance Woman whose creative interests cover numerous things while nurturing her family. I applaud her for her talents and appreciate that she’s shared her life.

Not many recipes for the price of the book and the ones that are included are boring, same ole same ole and, such large quantities! ! I did not care for this picture, AKA recipe book. I kept my copy for about a year & never used it once, I finally donated it to a charity sale.

This is really a good cookbook. The recipes work and are very typical of good Sicilian cooking. What other” experienced” cooks that have reviewed this book require to remember is that there is a difference between Sicilian and Italian cooking. I married into a Sicilian loved ones and also have learned how fantastic this way of cooking is. Many from the recipes in this book are ones that I’ve learned from loved ones and friends.I am an experienced cook and have an extensive cookbook collection and this publication is a nice addition. It is charming and fun , the recipes and suggestions are good and very sound.

Teresa’s heart and humor shine through on every page. She gives you insights into real Italian cooking with delicious recipes that are easy make and not only does she share some of her family’s treasured recipes, but also she provides up some useful tips and advice on how you can stay in shape while living a fulfilling life.

The one and only point that kept me from giving this book 5 stars were the references to Danielle. Skinny Italian is filled with sweet stories about the Giudice loved ones but the negative remarks about Danielle do not fit in with the love of family Teresa displays via out the book. If all references to Danielle had been excluded I think this publication could have been a excellent resource for individuals looking to learn how you can cook authentic Italian food, particularly to individuals who do not watch the show and also have no idea who Danielle is.

Wonderful
I was rather surprised when I went through this book. Not only did I find myself laughing, but there are some really DELICIOUS recipes. Very authentica Italian recipe. Two thumbs up

Really Easy to Follow
I just love this cook book. She breaks everything down, and makes it simple for anyone to make the recipes. I also like the family stories that she inserts here and there. Really well done, and the recipes are delicious!
